The brief

Nomad Opening Doors wanted a short highlight reel from the Sheffield Firewalk for social media. The agreed direction focused on event footage without interviews, giving the charity a standalone social film.

Keep the focus on the event

The portrait edit gives the Firewalk a compact social format. It keeps the event itself at the centre of the piece, with fire, participants and atmosphere carrying the short highlight. This example shows how event filming can produce a standalone social film with a clear, limited scope.
